Bikes.....

Our life at home is all about the bike (for a lot of people at least)....it seems to me now. Sins I can't bike here without getting killed. Not that I biked a lot at home, I did not really like it. But now I would love to jump on a bike and go to the store. Good news we are starting to look at a house just for us in a great area in town. We can bike there without getting killed and jump on a bike and go to the store. I will let you know if I still feel like biking at that time.....or is it just something that makes me feel more at home.

Seen a Cat eat CORN OF THE COP??? No butter on it just plain corn. Well this will be your first time. Bear loves sweet corn it is so funny. This is her new thing.... I guess I talk like a mam about her baby, Sorry! Just want you to see this.....

Weekend!!!

We had a great weekend! Tim Hughes did worship in our church that was really cool. And it was Jana's birthday so we went out for breakfast and had our nails dun...very girly! I got some pictures but I need to find a way to get them on my blog. So later this week.....

Tomorrow I have to work half a day because it is 4 July and will be off the rest. Looking forward to that.... O yes it stopt raining!

Louisville is still rainy...I just got soaked coming home from work. But life is still good also for the old people.... "one lady told me today that she will play bingo when she is old. She is 101..."

Life is good!

It has been Hot hot hot the weeks that I have been back in KY. This weekend we planned on going to the pool. But..... it is Dutch weather. It is raining nonstop, we really need the rain but I hate it. My plants look like they are drowning and the sky is grey..... But it also gives me the chance to light some candles in our place and sit on the couch writing to you on our blog.

Life has been good in Louisville I love the summers here. I love spending time with the old people at work and they seem to like spending time with the funny dutch girl. I know this job will not be for the rest of my life but for now it is good. I love our church, it is big but still it is great. I love going on Sunday mornings no need to stay in my bed. It is good to realize that life is good also on a rainy day in Kentucky.......

Dear friends from the ship came true Louisville. They spend the night with us and we had a chance to catch up. We had a great time and will see them next month for there wedding in North Carolina. That will be our only trip this summer in the USA...... So we are looking forward to that. We will see most of our friends from the ship that weekend. Most of them we have not seen sins our reception in Louisville. I can't wait..... Just four more weeks to go.

This is my Husband! Yes he loves it when I make pictures. The last day's he has to study a lot, but he had a B for his test so I am very impressed. And now we got home and guess what he is doing ?... back in the books. I am even more impressed.... That's what I souled do but I can't find the motivation in me. Maybe I am taking it the easy way....until I have enough of my rehab job and then go back to school or start my own business. I'll keep you up to date....
